Made from 5g of pure silver, the design of the note incorporates both coloured and engraved sections. Ariel is shown with her signature red hair flowing against a backdrop of love hearts and seashells. And the note wouldn't be complete without an image of her fish friend Flounder beside her.

The note contains its unique number in the mintage and is presented in a protective sleeve which includes details of the note's authenticity. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and is legal tender in Niue.

Ariel is one of the six unique silver coin notes that make up the collection which also includes Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Snow White.
