2011-2012 Circulation coin and test token

This set contains Canada's new one-dollar and two-dollar coins, as well as original test tokens that were part of a master set created during their development.

The new Loonie and Toonie are made with the RCM's patented multi-ply plating technology and new state-of-the-art visual security features.

Approximately one million test tokens of each denomination were produced. They were distributed throughout the vending industry to calibrate coin acceptance equipment,and then sent back to the Mint. The test tokens in this set are uncirculated versions of the original tokens.
