Description
Looks like there's a new threat rising in the land of Arcadia: Minibosses! Boss Monster: Rise of the Minibosses is an all new standalone set that can integrate with the previous two Boss Monster Base sets and all previous expansions.
As before, players will build up their dungeon (with graphics inspired by classic videogames) in order to lure in heroes and defeat them before they reach your boss. New mechanisms such as the all new miniboss room cards will power up your dungeon in insidious new ways, and wreak havoc on your opponents' dungeons.

| A whole new game | |
| At first, when I bought this box, I thought it was an expansion of the original game. Imagine my surprise when I finally realized the truth! As a stand-alone, Rise of the Minibosses was very fun to play and added a whole new dimension to the game through the miniboss cards which give a host of interesting new abilities and combos. Personally, I’m not a big fan of the coins that were added in this version as I feel that it puts too much focus on generating a constant stream of money rather than building a complex interplay of dungeon rooms as the original game intended. Nonetheless, I still had a blast of an evening when I first got it and look forward to breaking it out again for another go! |

| Le system de coins est boff, je ne trouve pas que cela a autant d'impact que cela devrait. Les miniboss tant qu'a eux me rappelle un peu les planeswalker de MTG ce qui est vraiment pas une mauvaise chose en soi ! | |

| Cette version de Boss monster apporte son lot de variété en cartes en plus d'ajouter les miniboss. Les parties de Boss Monster sont beaucoup plus diversifiées avec cette extension. Bon achat! | |

| Un jeu pour fan de jeu vidéo mais qui perd de l'intérêt avec le temps. | |
| La troisième boîte de Boss Monster améliore quand même le jeu, mais malheureusement ce jeu ne perce pas le domaine du gateway mais j'arrive pas à le mettre sur la table avec mes gateway player, si je le sort avec les gamers ils le trouve trop simple et mes casual préfèrent jouer a autre chose. Sinon, a par ça c'est une jeu correcte avec de belles allusion a des la pop culture geek des années 80-90. | |
