Description
Mansions of Madness Vol. 1 contains five scenarios for use with the Call of Cthulhu Starter Set or the 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu: Keeper Rulebook. It includes two fully updated and revised classics, along with three brand new adventures, and all can be played as standalone adventures, used as sidetracks for ongoing campaigns, or strung together to form a mini-campaign spanning the 1920s. Suitable for up to six players and their Keeper, each scenario should take between one and three sessions to play through, and are an ideal next step for those who have already experienced the horrors contained within the scenario collections Doors to Darkness and Gateways to Terror.

| C'est un produit officiel de Chaosium qui reflète l'excellente qualité des produits de celui-ci. Ce livre adapté pour la 7e édition, présente 5 scénarios de niveau intermédiaire en ce sens que il tient moins la main des Keepers (DM) que d'autres scénarios. J'ai presque terminé la lecture du premier scénario. Pour n'avoir joué qu'un scénario du Core Rule Book, je trouve ce scénario tout de même accessible et j'ai hâte de le présenter à mes joueurs dans 2 semaines... Bonne game ;) |

| Très bonne outil pour le Keeper qui inclut 5 histoires qui peuvent se jouer d’une session (5-6 heures) à 2-3 sessions tout dépendant à la vitesse à laquelle les investigateurs progressent ou du niveau d'expérience des joueurs. Comme tout livre de scénarios rien n'est complet et le Keeper doit 'boucher les trous' car sinon de tel livres viendraient en trilogies indigestes! Par contre tout le nécessaire y est pour bien comprendre le scénario, comment le présenter aux investigateurs, les PNJ/ monstres principaux ainsi que leur stats, leur motivation et pourquoi ils sont là! Il y a suffisamment de matériel pour qu'un keeper puisse occuper plusieurs sessions sans avoir à tout créer ou encore simplement pour s'inspirer et incorporer dans une aventure déjà existante. Beau produit, bonne qualité, prix raisonnable mais encore une fois, comme tous les livres de Chaosium, la qualité du rendu artistique est déficiente! |
