Compatible with the recently released Machi Koro 5th Anniversary Edition, Machi Koro 5th Anniversary Expansions features the same larger card size than previous editions as well as brand-new plastic coins to add to the plastic coins of the base game. Each expansion adds new layers, like Fishing Boats, an airport, and components to add a fifth player!

| Un peu trop dénaturant à mon goût | |
| Ce qui m'avait initialement attiré dans les expansions, c'était la possibilité d'ajouter un 5e joueur. Toutefois, les nouvelles cartes, sans être inintéressantes, dénaturent trop le jeu à mon goût. À la base, Machi Koro est un jeu de chance simple et rapide : c'est pourquoi ma petite famille l'aime. Toutefois, avec l'ajout d'une et/ou de l'autre des expansions Harbor et Millionnaire's Row comprises dans cette boîte, le jeu devient plus complexe et plus long, allant se placer dans une nouvelle niche déjà habitée par de nombreux autres jeux que je lui préfère nettement. |

| Une extension qui vaut la peine. Non seulement ont peu joueur à 6 joueurs, mais les nouvelles cartes transforme ce jeu excellent en jeu exceptionnel. Il faut par contre absolument jeu de base et idéalement dans la même langue. Les cartes supplémentaires sont bien identifiées donc pas de risque de mélanger les cartes des différents sets. | |

| Welcome to the city of Machi Koro. You've just been elected Mayor. Congrats! Unfortunately the citizens have some pretty big demands: jobs, a theme park, a couple of cheese factories and maybe even a radio tower. A tough proposition since the city currently consists of a wheat field, a bakery and a single die. Armed only with your trusty die and a dream, you must grow Machi Koro into the largest city in the region. You will need to collect income from developments, build public works, and steal from your neighbors' coffers. Just make sure they aren't doing the same to you! Machi Koro is a fast-paced game for 2-4 players. Each player wants to develop the city on their own terms in order to complete all of the landmarks under construction faster than their rivals. On their turn, each player rolls one or two dice. If the sum of the dice rolled matches the number of a building that a player owns, they get the effect of that building; in some cases opponents will also benefit from your dice (just as you can benefit from theirs). Then, with money in hand a player can build a landmark or a new building, ideally adding to the wealth of their city on future turns. The first player to construct all of their landmarks wins! |

| Cette extension ajoute entre autre la marina qui est indispensable selon moi. Avec les nouvelles cartes et les nouvelles grandes constructions le jeu dévoile d'avantage son potentiel et les parties sont beaucoup plus varié. | |

| L'expansion est excellente et offre des mecaniques de jeu différentes du jeu original. Par contre, si on ajoute toutes les expansion, le jeu devient plus encombré donc je recommande de choisir seulement quelques cartes à la fois en plus de la plupart des cartes du jeu original. Cela va aussi ajouter de la varieté à chaque partie. | |

| Bonne introduction aux "engine builders". Rapide à jouer et beau visuel. Par contre, un peu trop simple pour y jouer sur le long terme. Space Base et It's a Wonderful World sont au final plus intéressants. | |
