Description
Brave the perils of forest and cave in The Dark of Mirkwood, an 82-card expansion for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game that features two scenarios! A group of wicked Goblins have raided a settlement on the eaves of Mirkwood, taking the woodmen as their captives. Pursue them into the forest in The Oath, and venture deep into their lair to perform a daring rescue in The Caves of Nibin-Dǔm.
These scenarios can be played by 1–4 players, either as standalone adventures or as an extension to The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game revised core set campaign. The core set is required to play.

| This is a must purchase after the core box adding a few more scenarios to the ones included in the base. I dropped the score just because this should have been in the core box. |

| Good, but... | |
| This scenario pack is good but it is a little difficult. I have found that the two adventures are difficult to complete unless you have some experience with the deck-building aspect (which I don't). It's nice to get some new cards though seeing as the older stuff is all out of print. | |

| I was very happy to finally get my hands on those quests, they were previously available only in the (very limited edition) 2-players Starter Set. The quests are perfect to introduce new people to the game, and they are the continuation to the campaign from the Revised Core Set. | |

| Du plus avec le nouveau jeu de base | |
| La réédition du jeu de base du jeu de cartes du seigneur des anneaux en a surpris quelques un et les deux scénarios The Dark of Mirkwood encore plus. Avec ces deux scénarios qui sont compatibles avec les trois scénarios de la campagne de la nouvelle boîte de base vous avez maintenant une campagne en 5 scénarios ce qui est amplement suffisant pour des heures de plaisir. | |

| Le format des LCG m'a toujours fait peur et m'empêchait de m'investir dans ce jeu, mais avec la sortie du nouveau ''core set'' je me suis enfin lancer et quel jeu! L'expansion Dark of Mirkwood est une belle suite à la campagne du Core set qui peut elle même être jouée en mode ''mini campagne''. Je recommande. | |
