| Expensive "lottery ticket" | |
| I like to crack packs (it's an addiction of mine), and I didn't purchase the regular bundle yet so I thought I would try this one for roughly $20 more to try an experiment with that collector pack. The best I received out of that collector pack was a $13.50 CAD Castle Locthwain and a $2.50 shiny dwarf/food token. Probably could have been worse. Out of the regular packs, I got a $30 CAD Brazen Borrower together with several cards ranging from $4 to $12. Overall, I probably did alright. Next I'll have to organize them to see what I can do with them. I wouldn't buy this bundle with the expectation of making money from it (if I tried trading in all cards worth $2 or more, I doubt I would have broke even). But if you want the oversized die plus the shiny deck box (I store my decks in them) and you have an addiction like mine, then maybe this bundle (or the regular one) is the way to go. |
