Plague Inc: The Board Game is a strategic game of infection, evolution and extinction for 1-5* people - based on the smash-hit digital game with over 85 million players. Can you infect the world?
Each player is a deadly disease and they must battle against each other to spread their plagues, develop new symptoms and ultimately wipe out humanity.
Starting with Patient Zero, you spread your infection across the world by placing tokens in cities - earning DNA points and preventing other players from becoming dominant. Players choose which countries are placed on the board but you must be both climate resistant and connected to a country before you can infect it. Eventually, as countries become fully infected - you try to killthem using the Death Dice.
Each player’s unique pathogen can be upgraded by evolving trait cards onto an evolution slide (with DNA points). At the start, your disease is weak and unspecialised,so you will need to add new symptoms to make it stronger. Choose carefully and plan ahead in order to react to the changing world and exploit opportunities created by other player’s actions.
A simple nosebleed could accelerate things early on, whilst diarrhea will help you thrive in hot countries. Sneezing can infect new continentsby air but Total Organ Failure would allow you wipe out multiple countries each turn.
As countries start to fall, use powerful event cards to alter the balance of power. You might try to eradicate a dominant player by bombing their diseased cities, or hold the Olympicsto cause huge numbers of infected people to travel to a healthy continent.

| If you loved the mobile game, you'll love it. It's a slow paced game with vibes similar to Pandemic but you now are the virus and are trying to expand and become stronger. |

| L'idée de prendre le contrepied de Pandemic en laissant les joueurs tenter de détruire la Terre plutôt que d'essayer de la sauver est une belle réussite dans cette adaptation d'une application qui permet à ces courtes parties de demeurer intéressantes. C'est un jeu assez simple où il faut savoir évaluer ses coûts d'option. | |

| Plague Inc: The Board Game est un jeu de stratégie coopératif créé par James Vaughan et édité par Ndemic Creations. Le jeu est basé sur le jeu vidéo à succès Plague Inc, dans lequel les joueurs créent et gèrent des épidémies pour éradiquer l'humanité. Dans Plague Inc: The Board Game, les joueurs incarnent des pathogènes et cherchent à se propager dans le monde entier, tout en contrecarrant les efforts des scientifiques et des gouvernements qui tentent de les arrêter. Les joueurs doivent gérer leur ADN, développer des symptômes pour infecter la population, et évoluer pour surmonter les efforts de la défense humaine. Le jeu est divisé en deux phases, la phase d'infection et la phase de combat. Pendant la phase d'infection, les joueurs placent des jetons de maladie sur le plateau de jeu pour infecter différentes régions du monde. Au fur et à mesure que la maladie se propage, les joueurs peuvent dépenser leur ADN pour développer de nouveaux symptômes et capacités. | C'est un jeu de gestion du territoire, très bien fait et structuré, assez simple à comprendre, peu de règles, accessible à des enfants de 11 ans. Le jeu ressemble beaucoup au jeu vidéo. Parfait pour les adolescents. | |
