This quarter is the fourth in 2025 and 19th overall in the American Women Quarters Program. 

The American Women Quarters™ Program is a four-year series celebrating the accomplishments and contributions made by women to the development and history of the U.S. Beginning in 2022, and continuing through 2025, the Mint will issue five new quarters each year featuring reverse designs honoring a group of prominent American women.

Stacey Park Milbern is featured on the nineteenth coin released in this program.

Stacey Park Milbern was a leader, a visionary, a problem-solver, and a fierce and compassionate activist for disability justice, ablaze with youth, purpose, and commitment. As a pioneer for disability justice and intersectionality, Stacey’s experiences led her to empower and revitalize others.

The reverse (tails) depicts Stacey Park Milbern speaking to an audience. She places one hand near her trach while her right hand faces palm up, a gesture meant to evoke a genuine exchange of ideas and the building of allyship. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “QUARTER DOLLAR,” “DISABILITY JUSTICE,” and “STACEY PARK MILBERN.”

The common obverse (heads) depicts a portrait of George Washington. This design was originally composed and sculpted by Laura Gardin Fraser as a candidate entry for the 1932 quarter, which honored the bicentennial of George Washington’s birth. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2025.”
