- Crafted from 99.99% pure silver and twice its original size, each coin is a modern-day tribute to the past, to a legendary engraver (Leonard C. Wyon), and to the maple wreath designs that made them distinctly Canadian.
- Several historical obverses in one set! Two different effigies of Queen Victoria are included in this set: the youthful "laureate" from the 1858 Province of Canada coins and the "diademed" portrait of the Confederation-era monarch, created for the 1870 25- and 50-cent coins.
