Daspletosaurus Torosus
This magnificentcoin produced by the Royal Canadian Mint celebrates the 100th anniversary of the heritage building of the Canadian Museum of nature, Canada's leading nature sciences and natural history museum located in Ottawa, Ontario. The coin features the carnivorous Daspletosaurus torosus, one of the Museum's amazing dinosaurs presented in The Talisman Energy Fossil Gallery.
This card contains a lenticular 50-cent coin representing the Daspletosaurus Torosus and six collectable cards on dinosaurs : the Dromaeosaurus, the Sinosauropteryx, the Dromiceiomimus, the Styracosaurus, the Maiasaura and the Canadian Museum of Nature.
This coin is the first of the Dinosaur exhibit collection.
The first coin of the series, released in May 2010, depicts the Daspletosaurus torosus.
The second coin of the series, releasedin July 2010, depicts the Albertosaurus.
The third and the last coin of the series, released in September 2010, depicts the Sinosauropteryx.
