 Inspired by a royal headpiece. The Diamond Diadem depicted on the historic obverse is one of the most recognizable crowns worn by Her Majesty. Her Majesty donned the diamond-laden diadem for the coronation procession in 1953 and continues to wear it to the annual State Opening of Parliament ceremony in London (United Kingdom).
