Surrounded by botanical emblems and resplendent in 99.99% pure gold, these select effigies from Canada’s coins trace the royal line of succession and the Crown through their different era—from the Queen Victoria diadem portrait seen on the first coins issued by the Dominion of Canada 155 years ago, to the present effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.

*No Canadian coins bearing the effigy of King Edward VIII were issued during his short reign.
