Description
The year is 1602, and strange things are stirring in England. | Je n’avais rien acheté de Neil Gaiman depuis Sandman, que j’avais profondément détesté. Trop philosophique, spirituel et ésotérique pour moi. Mais j’ai eu raison de croire qu’en faisant œuvrer Gaiman dans le cadre plus strict et conventionné de Marvel, il allait m’offrir une histoire davantage dans mes cordes. Son style d’écriture s’adapte même très bien à cette série qui prend racine dans le début du XVIIe siècle. Beaucoup de super-héros, dont plusieurs surprises, sont à l’honneur dans ce récit passionnant. On prend plaisir à découvrir quels super-héros se cachent derrière ces personnages de l’Époque moderne. Le style de dessin et les couleurs sont particuliers et requièrent une certaine ouverture. Après quelques pages, j’ai tout de même commencé à apprécier ce style « crayon de bois ». |

| Graphic novel qui m'a souvent été suggéré par plusieurs personnes car j'adore ce que Neil Gaiman fait et je suis une passionée d'histoire, surtout cette époque .C'était en plus dans une épisode de The big bang theory. Même sans être fan de l'ère Élizabethain ce graphic novel peut être apprécier de n'importe qui . J'aurait du l'acheté plus tôt . Bonne lecture à tous. | |
