Description
For uncountable ages the Blackstone Fortress has kept its watchful silence. It patiently waits, willing those brave enough to gamble everything exploring its halls. Only the most determined of adventurers will return with riches – the unworthy are never seen again. But to many, the rewards far outweigh the risks. Among the denizens of Precipice, ratlings, robots and rogue traders all pursue their own agendas, pitting themselves against the myriad forces of darkness that have claimed the fortress as their own. | Nice story supplement for the game | |
| I went pretty much all in on the blackstone fortress game and have tried to pick up these novels where I can as well. It does really add something to the gameplay to get a bit more sense of the characters and their motivations, as well as learn more about the mysterious fortress its shifting maze of rooms and all the interesting bad guys you encounter. Not required by any means to enjoy the game and its hardly the best novel I've ever read, but it does add a little bit extra making it worth picking up. The nice thing is there are several stories so if you hated one the next might be a bit more interesting for you. | |
