Description
Salutations, neighbor, and welcome to Furroughfield, the Commonwealth of Free Beasts! Ours is a budding farm town with soil ripe for planting.
In Harvest, you take on the role of a farmer, each with their own unique penchant for working the land, and choose a farmhouse with its own special round-to-round benefit. Each round, you draft sunrise cards that give you a one-time income and determine turn order for the round. Following that turn order, move your wheelbarrows around town to gather resources that you'll use to manage your fields. Plant seeds, tend the land, and harvest crops to make money and score points. Clear land to expand your farm, and construct buildings that make your land more efficient and give you endgame bonuses. By the end of harvest season, the farmer with the most points wins!

| I quite like Harvest, and am looking to get it back to the table soon. It is a fun worker placement game, which I found to be similar to Viticulture in that you have to use actions to plant/tend/harvest crops. With only 3 actions per round, you had to be strategic with your decisions and think ahead. For the price - and because Keymaster Games offerings normally has great inserts - I was hoping this would come with an insert, but there is none. One is included in the deluxe version, but the regular retail version only comes with some plastic bags to store components. Some iconography discrepancies/errors also caused us some confusion. Luckily we weren't the only ones, and found answers to these from the designer on BGG forums. I suspect that they will get fixed in subsequent printings, but it was a shame it wasn't picked up in playtesting/production. |

| Game looks great but... | |
| The game looks great and the art is very nice but the production quality is a bit lower than the usual Keymaster game. No insert and much less linen finish in this one than the usual Keymaster products. | |

| Mélange douillet de pouvoirs assymétriques, placement d'ouvriers et de draft. Chaque joueur doit rassembler des ressources pour améliorer sa ferme (terres, récoltes, bâtiments, etc.) pour faire plus d'argent/points. | |

| HARVEST, une belle réussite | |
| Harvest est sans conteste l'un de mes jeux préférés dans sa catégorie plus familiale ! Il se classe dans la catégorie médium-léger des jeux de placement d'ouvriers, et c'est exactement ce que j'aime : une mécanique simple à comprendre mais avec une profondeur stratégique qui me captive à chaque partie. Dans ce jeu, vous gérez une ferme, en cultivant et récoltant des légumes tout en optimisant l’utilisation de vos ouvriers. J’apprécie particulièrement la façon dont chaque décision impacte directement le développement de ma ferme, et la satisfaction d’organiser parfaitement mes ressources et récoltes est immense. Le placement des ouvriers est intuitif, mais il faut quand même bien réfléchir pour maximiser chaque action. Ce qui me plaît aussi beaucoup, c’est la grande rejouabilité. Les différentes configurations de terrain et les cartes d’objectifs offrent une variété de stratégies, ce qui fait que chaque partie est unique. En plus, l’aspect visuel du jeu, avec ses illustrations chaleureuses et son matériel de qualité, ajoute une touche agréable à l’expérience. En résumé, Harvest est un jeu parfait pour ceux qui aiment les jeux de placement d'ouvriers avec une belle dose de stratégie. C’est devenu un incontournable dans ma ludothèque, et je lui attribue fièrement un 4.5/5. Il est idéal pour une soirée entre amis ou en famille, et je le recommande vivement ! |
