Description

Au XIXe siècle, sous l'Empire austro-hongrois, cette ville était connue sous le nom de Lemberg. Après la Première Guerre mondiale, elle devint Lwow et fut incorporée à la nouvelle Pologne. Au début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, la ville fut occupée par les Soviétiques et devint Lvov. En juillet 1941, les Allemands l'envahirent et en firent la capitale du Distrikt Galizien au sein du Gouvernement général. Lvov redevint Lemberg. Ukrainienne après la victoire de l'Armée rouge sur les nazis à l'été 1944, elle prit le nom communément retenu aujourd'hui de Lviv.. Invité à y donner une conférence sur les travaux concernant le génocide et les crimes contre l'humanité, l'avocat international Philippe Sands découvre une série de coïncidences historiques qui le conduiront des secrets de sa famille à l'histoire universelle.. Retour a Lemberg
Excellent BD, tiré d'un tout aussi excellent livre. Il s'agit d'un récit sérieux et intense, celui de la Shoah sous l'angle d'une histoire familiale ainsi que d'une reflexion légale. Le dessin de Camus fonctionne très bien avec cette histoire, en étant sobre et épuré. Le noir et blanc donne également un caractère sérieux et solonnel (un peu a la Liste de Schindler).
