| La ''run'' de Hickman a été formidable. On a vraiment l'impression qu'il a essayé de créer quelque chose qui relie des décennies d'histoire très désordonnées et les idées qu'il a pour l'avenir de la série. J'adore House of X/Powers of X, mais j'ai aussi beaucoup de questions sur ce nouveau paradis créé par les mutants. Dans ce livre, Hickman utilise ses propres personnages pour poser ces mêmes questions, et cela ressemble à un clin d'œil au lecteur. C'est comme s'il disait que vous, le lecteur, avez raison de demander ces choses et quel est exactement le coût de tout cela. Hickman veut que nous réalisions que vous n'obtenez pas tout ce que vous avez toujours voulu sans payer d'une manière ou d'une autre. Nous n'avons pas vu tous les secrets, mais il nous a donné quelques indices et mis en place une base solide pour des années de narration dans l'univers X. J'ai adoré ce livre, c'était comme quelque chose de complètement nouveau et comme une histoire sur un groupe de vieux amis en même temps. | |
