2024 COLOURED "100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FORCE" 2-DOLLAR
BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED (BU)
Throughout its first century of service (1924-2024), Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) personnel have taken to the skies to assist, defend and represent Canadians, at home and abroad. As Canada’s Air Force marks its centennial, the $2 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force commemorative circulation coin features a design that spans 100 years of RCAF missions, machinery and milestones. Each Colourized $2 coin features a colour-enhanced view of the RCAF roundel and the CC-130H Hercules at the centre of the coin, where they’re surrounded by engraved RCAF aircraft representing the past and present.
A century of service captured on a coin. The RCAF Roundel has been colourfully re-created on the $2 coin’s reverse, where the RCAF’s first century (1924-2024) is seen through the lens of services its personnel and equipment have brought—and continue to bring—to Canada and the world.
A great gift or keepsake for RCAF personnel, past and present, and their loved ones; for aviation and history enthusiasts; and for all who are inspired by the RCAF’s important legacy of service.
