Sens of celebration
2nd coin of the series Well struck characters.
The series includes Humour, Sens of celebration, Hospitality, Irreductibility, Irreverence, Share, Sensitivity, Travel, Invincibility, Elegance, Gluttony, Complicity, Conviviality, Romanticism, Wisdom, Ecology, Generosity and Courage.
Although the singing talent of Cacofonix is unanimously opposed in the village, no one can blame him for his willingness to set the mood with his famous vocalizations.
Translating comic book characters is an interesting but perilous exercise. The transition from comic strip to volume must faithfully transcribe the clear line of Uderzo’s and Conrad‘s work. These coins are the faithful representation of a graphic line proper to the french artist, it is a tribute in three dimensions paid by the craftsmen of Monnaie de Paris to the universe of Asterix.
