The 2023 National Indigenous Peoples Day commemorative $2 circulation coin is an open invitation to celebrate First Nations, Inuit, and Métis art and cultures. You’ll find two of these commemorative $2 coins — one with colour and one without — inside each Keepsake Card, where the coins appear alongside the artists’ words about their art, inspiration and personal connections to National Indigenous Peoples Day.
About the $2, $1, 25¢, 10¢ and 5¢ coins included in this Commemorative Collector Keepsake Card: As we focus our attention on commemorating the reign of Queen Elizabeth II (1952-2022), the Royal Canadian Mint will not be issuing 2023-dated Canadian circulation coins featuring both the traditional reverse designs and an obverse featuring Queen Elizabeth II. Instead, we are offering a collector’s edition of these annual issues that have been struck in limited numbers. These are non-circulation coins, meaning they are legal tender but not intended for general circulation. The obverse also bears a special marking that includes four pearls symbolizing the four effigies that have graced Canadian coins and the double date of her reign.
Seven coins in one Keepsake Card. Each Keepsake Card contains 2023-dated $2, $1, 25¢, 10¢, 5¢ coins — these are a rarity in 2023 and are considered non-circulation coins, meaning they are legal tender but not intended for general circulation.
The National Indigenous Peoples Day commemorative $2 coin is the first circulation piece to feature a reverse design by three individual artists.
Each Keepsake Card contains both versions of the 2023 National Indigenous Peoples Day commemorative $2 coin: one with colour and one without.
Includes five 2023-dated versions of $2, $1, 25¢, 10¢, 5¢ coins — a rarity in a year when these are only available as non-circulation coins (legal tender but not intended for general circulation).
The coins are uncirculated and come in a colourful folder featuring the artists’ own words about their art, their inspiration and connection to National Indigenous Peoples Day.

J'aime ces collections de pi`ces commémoratives et surtout la documentation intérieure. On n'a pas besoin d'enlever le plastique pour pouvoir lire. Poste très rapide. Merci à l'équipe. |
