| Good Staples, Bad Deck | |
| The deck is super mediocre (and obvious nostalgia bait), but it has so many incredible reprints that it's a no-brainer for anyone new to the game and trying to put together a half-decent deck. Comes with some nice tokens too as a bonus. | |

| Quite a fun deck! We bought it for casual play. Only has fusion summons, nothing more complicated than that. It has the potential for competitive play if you buy 3 of them and find a good decklist online or on youtube (check Jessie Kotton) | |

| Buy it for the staples | |
| The deck is mediocre and I used to play Crystal Beast and I own the rubber playmat. The new cards certainly bring a new strategy to the table. However, it is a high risk, low reward play that requires a lot of setup. Why Konami chose to center the new support on the bricky boss monster Rainbow Dragon is for nostalgic reasons. It should have included retrains of the main deck monsters. | |

| This is the year of Crystal Beasts it seems. New monster in Ghosts from the Past 2 (reprinted here), new trap in the 2022 tins and later this year the Advanced Crystal Beasts in Battles of Legend Crystal Revenge... This structure deck is therefore the best place to gather any missing pieces you might need to run a Crystal Beast startegy. Whether it's for the staples (Ash Blossom, Ghost Belle, Dimension Shifter, Contact "C", etc.), the new Crystal Beast support cards (7 if I'm not mistaken), or the reprint of pretty much everything Crystal Beast printed until now, there's something for everybody in it. Plus, you know, the rainbow is just fabulous. | |
