The huge long-haul aircraft Boeing 747 completed its maiden flight on February 9, 1969. The jumbo jet had Pratt & Whitney engines with 19,731 kp thrust, a takeoff weight of over 300,000 kg and could carry 385 passengers over a distance of 9,136 km. The 747 was planned by Boeing as a series, the 747-100 was followed by other variants with increased capacities.
Kit including building instructions and decal
Assembly and painting required. Kit does not include model cement glue, paint, and tools. Adult supervision where required.
