Description
Arcadia is an imaginary spaceship (space battleship) developed by engineer Tochiro Oyama shortly before his death and given to Captain Harlock. It is also assumed that the ship's creator managed to convert his consciousness into the main computer of the vessel before his death, making Arcadia a part of a cyborg of gigantic proportions. The length of the vessel is approx. 400 m, 290 m wide and approx. 160 m high! In addition, the unit has very modern electronic equipment and has - inevitably - a lot of autonomy. Only about 40 crew members are needed for this huge vessel. It is also assumed that Arcadia has powerful armour and weapons consisting of pulsar, vibration, gravity guns and torpedo launchers. Arcadia battleship belongs to the comic book and manga universe of "Captain Harlock" created by Japanese cartoonist Leiji Matsumoto.
