This 1/12 scale model assembly kit recreates the Superleggera V4, of which only 500 full-size motorcycles were produced. The Superleggera V4 is a road-legal version of the Panigale V4 produced by the legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati. The cornerstone of this motorcycle is weight reduction, facilitated by the use of carbon fiber in the fairings, chassis, and swingarm, and its striking design features distinctive carbon fiber biplane wings on each side of the front fairing for aerodynamics. The engine is the Desmosedici Stradale R, a 998cc V4 with Ducati's Desmodromic valve timing system. The full-size bike also uses Öhlins suspension and Brembo brakes. Additionally, the installation of the Akrapovič titanium silencer — intended for the racing kit — along with a dedicated engine part results in an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 1.54 hp/kg.
