From 2007 to 2010, fifteen twenty-five cent coins were issued to celebrate the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Winter Games. The series include ten winter sports designs, two paralympic special issues and three designs that represent previous Canadian Winter Olympics medals.  Also, two Lucky Loon were issued as a good luck symbol to support canadian athletes in 2008 and 2010.
This 25-cent coin is the thirdcoin in the top Olympic Winter moments: it is the bronze medal of the serie.
