This set is part of the France Brilliant Uncirculated Sets series.
This series includes the eight French circulation denominations in Brilliant Uncirculated quality. Minted in only 25,000 copies, this series exclusively contains the new €1 and €2 coins, designed by Joaquin Jiménez, General Engraver of the Monnaie de Paris. The new €1 coin is produced exclusively for this series as well as for the 2022 Proof series.
The Brilliant Uncirculated quality coins have a special finish applied to certain collector coins. They are minted with new tools and have a shiny and perfect appearance, without any trace of degradation because they have never been put into circulation.
