Year of the Rabbit
6th coin of the series Chinese Calender (Silver).
The series includes one coin each year with their specific sign since 2018.
The Chinese Calendar series presents a new animal every year. The year 2023 is dedicated to the Rabbit. It's an excellent gift for those born in the Year of the Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023). This year, if someone is born between January 22, 2023 and February 9, 2024, they are of this sign.
Surrounded by a circle of traditional Chinese motives, a rabbit is featured in the center of the coin. It goes through the coin using the door displayed on the reverse. The ideogram of the rabbit appears on the right side. The year date 2023 and the inscription "Year of the rabbit" appear at the top, in the outer circle.
The reverse shows all the animals of the Chinese zodiac. They are all featured on a screen surrounding a traditional Chinese temple door. A complete cycle of the Chinese zodiac will be composed from 2018 to 2029. Each of these twelve years therefore features an animal from this calendar. The face value is visible at the top left and the “RF” mention is on the door.
