Two Maple Leaves
The reverse imagefeatures a recreation of William James Henry Blakemore's 1922 redesign of Canada's 5-cent coin. Finely detailed engraving, multiplefinishes and selective gold plating breathe new life and more definition to the original design, which features two maple leaves facing outward from the centre.
This coin is the second issue of the Legacy of the Canadian Nickel series.
The first coin of the series, released in February 2015, depicts the Crossed Maple Boughs.
The second coin of the series, released in March 2015, depicts the Two Maple Leaves.
The third coin of the series, released in April 2015, depicts the Victory.
