To support their prestige as limited edition commemorative coins. they are struckusing the same alloys that are currently used in our 2003 Proof Sets : fine silver for the one dollar coin, 92.5% silver for the 5,10,25 and 50-cents coins and copper for the 1-cent coin. It is proof quality and was expertly struck by the Royal canadian Mint a limited mintage of 30 000 sets worldwide.
