20TH ANNIVERSARY OF NUNAVUT
2nd coin of the series The Arctic.
- An event that re-drew our map. Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nunavut with a reproduction of the design from our 1999 $2 circulation coin.
- Gold from Nunavut. Fittingly, this celebration of Nunavut is crafted from 100% Nunavut sourced gold. It was sourced from two different mines—Agnico-Eagle Mines’ Meadowbank Gold Mine and TMAC Resources’ Doris North Mine—and refined in our state-of-the-art facility.
- Classic design, new coin size. Following in the footsteps of another Arctic-themed coin, the 2018 Symbols of the North, this is only the second coin to be struck on an innovative thin blank. You get the gold content of a 1/10 oz. gold coin, but with a 25% larger diameter.
