2nd coin of the series Tribute to Alex Colville.
- First time struck in gold: This is the first time Colville’s numismatic artwork has been struck in gold.
- 1967, re-mastered: A centennial celebration of Canada becomes a centennial celebration of the artist. All six of Colville’s wildlife-themed, 1967 Centennial circulation coin designs have been lovingly re-created on 1/10 oz. pure gold coins, from the goose (dollar coin) to the dove (one-cent coin).
- Historic obverse: Like the original coins issued in 1967, all six 2020 versions feature the 1965 effigy by Arnold Machin.
- Also available as a subscription with a free maple wood case and an exclusive booklet featuring rarely seen images of the production tooling of the 1967 circulation coinage when you complete your subscription.
