Description
Antiquity is a strategy game for 2-4 players. It is set in an environment loosely modeled on Italy in the late Middle Ages. Players choose their own victory condition: they can focus on population growth, trade, conquest, or city building by choosing their patron saint.
Each strategy requires a completely different style of play. Or you can choose to adore Santa Maria, the most powerful saint of all -- but you'll be expected to build a civilization twice as impressive as any other player.
While your economy is constantly improving, with more and more advanced cities bringing new options each turn, the land around your cities is slowly being depleted, forcing you to travel further and further to gather your raw materials -- until finally, there is no more land left to farm. Let's hope one of you has won the game before that time!

| Good Heavy Strategy Game | |
| This game isn't much to look at - the components are cheap and the art isn't spectacular - but it packs a punch. The mechanics are excellent: heavy strategy and minimal luck. The game is unforgiving - it is not easy to recover from mistakes. Not for everyone, but if this sort of game appeals to you and you can look past the components you will enjoy it. | |

| Pollution! | |
| Un autre excellent jeu de la compagnie Splotter qui nous invite à bâtir notre civilisation afin qu'elle soit plus efficace que celle de nos adversaires. Il faut faire attention car notre développement et notre utilisation de ressources produit de la pollution ce qui peut contrecarrer nos plans et nous rendre la vie plus difficile. Il est aussi très intéressant qu'on puisse choisir nous-même notre condition de victoire lorsqu'on bâtit une église. Son seul défaut est que c'est un jeu passablement long et peut l'être encore plus si vos amis sont du type à chercher à maximiser chaque action. | |
