| Social Deduction with a I split you Choose Mechanism | |
| Aztec’s underlying mechanism is social deduction. In the game players are going down into the Aztec pyramid to collect gems. You’re going to look at a card, then place it back on the table face down with the amount/type of gems that are on that card. You can either be truthful (follow the card) or deceitful (place what you want) about what was on the card. After all cards have been placed with gems on top – the players will go around the table with each person picking another player and deciding if they have been truthful or are lying. It's definitely an interesting take on social deduction with a variation of you pick I choose. The game is fast and offers an alternative to classics like: werewolf, coup the resistance… etc. |
