"Life is Battle; Battle is Glory; Glory is ALL"
In Blood Rage, each player controls their own Viking clan’s warriors, leader, and ship. Ragnarök has come, and it’s the end of the world! It’s the Vikings’ last chance to go down in a blaze of glory and secure their place in Valhalla at Odin’s side! For a Viking there are many pathways to glory. You can invade and pillage the land for its rewards, crush your opponents in epic battles, fulfill quests, increase your clan's stats, or even die gloriously either in battle or from Ragnarök, the ultimate inescapable doom.
Most player strategies are guided by the cards drafted at the beginning of each of the three game rounds (or Ages). These “Gods’ Gifts” grant you numerous boons for your clan including: increased Viking strength and devious battle strategies, upgrades to your clan, or even the aid of legendary creatures from Norse mythology. They may also include various quests, from dominating specific provinces, to having lots of your Vikings sent to Valhalla. Most of these cards are aligned with one of the Norse gods, hinting at the kind of strategy they support. For example, Thor gives more glory for victory in battle, Heimdall grants you foresight and surprises, Tyr strengthens you in battle, while the trickster Loki actually rewards you for losing battles, or punishes the winner.
Players must choose their strategies carefully during the draft phase, but also be ready to adapt and react to their opponents’ strategies as the action phase unfolds. Battles are decided not only by the strength of the figures involved, but also by cards played in secret. By observing your opponent’s actions and allegiances to specific gods, you may predict what card they are likely to play, and plan accordingly. Winning battles is not always the best course of action, as the right card can get you even more rewards by being crushed. The only losing strategy in Blood Rage is to shy away from battle and a glorious death!

| Ce jeu sera dans mon top 10 à vie probablement . Un des jeux de contrôle de territoire le plus complet que j'ai vu à date. Il est préférable d'y jouer à 4 joueurs, mais fonctionne parfaitement à 3 joueurs. Juste le jeu de base est assez aussi. Si vous avez manqué le Kickstarter, c'est pas si tant grave. | |

| Blood Rage est un jeu qui est esthétiquement très beau. Il a une belle présence sur la table par ses figurines et par les images sur les cartes et les fiches de clans. Côté jeu, c'est très bien aussi : suffisamment simple pour être enseigné rapidement, mais aussi assez complexe pour garder investi dans la partie. Je trouve personnellement que le jeu se joue mieux à trois ou quatre joueurs (je n'ai jamais joué à cinq avec l'extension) qu'à deux, mais c'est possible d'avoir des parties intéressantes quand même (il y aura un peu moins d’interactions). |

| Blood Rage est un excellent jeu de confrontation où on incarne des clans Viking lors du Ragnarök. Chacun est représenté par des magnifiques modèles de figurines différentes. Il y a aussi quelque monstre mythiques que l'on peut recruter. Le jeu est relativement simple malgré tout et s'apprend facilement. Mieux vaut y jouer à 4 joueurs pour le maximum d'interraction. | |

| Excellent jeu! Même ma copine a beaucoup aimé malgré le fait que le thème du jeu ne l'attirait pas vraiment. Beaucoup plus tactique que ce que le nom du jeu pourrait faire penser. Un des rares jeux (voire le seul) où il est parfois beaucoup plus payant de perdre un combat que de le gagner. | |

| Dans Bloodrage, on incarne un clan de viking alors que l’apolypse nordique s’abat sur notre monde. Jeu en mode compétitif, c’est le joueurs qui aura le plus haut pointage qui l’emportera. Que cela soit en pillant, contrôler une zone de territoire ou mourir glorieusement à la bataille, la thématique fin du monde à la viking est très bien respectée! Les miniatures sont superbes! Ce jeu a été l’un de nos favoris longtemps. Bon jeu! | |

| Ceci est un jeu très immersif et surtout de très grande qualité! Les miniatures sont d'une qualité impressionnante et chaque joueur a ses propres figurines différentes des autres. Les monstres sont à couper le souffle. Pour avoir acheté d'autres jeux à ce prix, celui-ci est de loin celui avec la meilleur qualité de produit. Le seul pont négatif est le rangement dans la boite. Il est très loin d'être optimal et peux causer des frustrations en le sortant et le serrant. | |
