All that Glitters includes 3 new locations of each type - military, economic, cultural and civic, plus a new location available throughout the game, the Gold Mine, a Commodity location. It also comes with a supply of gold tokens with which to play.

| L’idée est assez sympa. Chaque joueur dispose de 5 dés, chacun d’une couleur différente. A la fin de son tour, et dans le but de déjà se préparer à son prochain tour, le joueur jette ses 5 dés et les place, en fonction des résultats, sur son plateau personnel. Le plateau personnel d’un joueur est un tableau quadrillé qui comprend 5 lignes (une pour chaque couleur de dé) et 6 colonnes (une pour chaque valeur de dé). Lorsqu’un joueur jette ses dés, il les place à l’endroit correspondant (si le dé blanc montre une valeur de 4 , il le place sur la ligne blanche à la quatrième colonne. Sur chaque case, une action est prédessinée. Quand on enlève un dé de son tableau personnel, en général, on réalise l’action de la case où il était. L’aspect intéressant de ce mécanisme est que les joueurs peuvent acquérir des cartes action et les placer sur leur plateau personnel augmentant, par-là , la puissance de leur action.
