DreamQuest is a cooperative adventure game for two players - ideally an adult and a child - who play the roles of Protector and Dreamer.
Together, you try to complete a quest before the Dreamer awakens, choosing the path to follow, making decisions, fighting monsters, rolling dice and trying to reach the end of the adventure in time. If the Dreamer awakens before the end of the quest, you have to start the adventure again, but the heroes have now gained experience that will make them more powerful.
DreamQuest also includes an illustrated book that you can use to record your adventure and personalize the document for later recall.

| Gros coup de cœur | |
| Comme si les créateurs de Donjons et Dragons avaient fait un jeu pour les enfants! J'y ai passé beaucoup de temps avec ma fille de 7 ans. L'histoire est intéressante et propose de nombreux choix aux joueurs. Seul bémol, on ne peut y jouer qu'à deux. | |

| L'idée de base du jeux est superbe, mais le problème c'est qu'on est quatre à vouloir y jouer. S'il pourrait faire une version du jeux pour 2 à 4 joueurs le jeux serait parfait. Une extension pour un mode pour ajouter des joueurs serait très apprécié. | |

| L'idée de jouer un jeu d'aventure avec son enfant est excellente. L'histoire se déroule comme un livre dont vous êtes le héro. C'est un jeu pas très complexe mais facile d'approche pour les tout petits. Belle introduction aux jeux d'aventure et on passe un bon moment avec son enfant. Les seuls points négatif sont: pour les habitué de jeu de rôle, seulement lancé les dés peu être un peu ennuyant. Deuxièmement, il y a des stickers (legacy)... donc si vous avez plus d'un enfants, il faut trouver un moyen de tracker les différents personnages. | |
