Dwellings of Eldervale is an epic worker placement game set in a once lost magical world. Giant elemental monsters roam while dragons, wizards and warriors battle for dominance over 8 elemental realms. Players control unique factions seeking to adventure, battle, grow in power and ultimately dwell Eldervale, shaping it to their vision.
Dwellings of Eldervale blends worker placement, area control, engine building and unique worker units. Players take turns placing a worker in Eldervale or regrouping and activating their tableau of adventure cards. Action spaces include realms key to power: a summoning portal, an ancient mill, the lost fortress, deep dungeons, and a crumbling mage tower and the elemental lands of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Light, Dark, Order and Chaos! Magic cards grant spells, quests and prophecies to players.
In the end, the players with the most elemental dominance among the multiple paths to victory will reign over Eldervale.
Each player controls one or more heroes – legendary characters brought back to life by powerful sorcery. Weakened by the resurrection, they grow stronger during their story-driven quests. By acquiring soul points during battles, the heroes' souls regenerate, restoring their legendary status with multiple powers, magic and soul weapons, and powerful artifacts.

| So I finally got a copy of this beautiful game! First of all, in terms of components, this is fantastic! The game comes with inserts for every factions (their are 16 factions, 2 for each elements and 8 elements) and also for the cards, tiles and even tokens! In terms of gameplay, I haven’t had a chance to play every faction yet but I love it so far! There are so many different combinations of elements to play with during a game and what I like the most is probably the fights with the monsters and dominating them! Anyways, it’s quite a pricey game, but if you want it, it’s worth it! Also, you can play solo! | |

| Les pièces du jeux sont très bien fait. La façon que tout se range parfaitement est incroyable. Ça devrait être un exemple pour les fabricants de jeux! Dwelings est un jeux qui paraît intimidant au nouveau joueurs. Une fois installé et les règlements expliqués ça partait complexe. Après un tour tout le monde comprend bien la mécanique. Il s'agit d'un jeux hybride. Un mélange d'un tampon de mécanique qui une fois mise ensemble donne un jeux superbe, avec beaucoup de rejouabilité. Un jeux tellement plaisant que lorsque la partie est terminée les joueurs a notre tables se disent tous déjà!? Très bon jeux, je recommande fortement 9/10 |

| We open the box, super excited due to the long wait about a year and a half, paid 110$ +tx to realise that there is 2 empty boxes inside where the miniature figures should have been, at my surprise the game have only 2 figurines and if you want the rest, well you shall pay even more. 2 extensions sold out or coming soon on multiple sites and for the 2 boxes you'll have to spend an other hundred dollars maybe more so you can have all the figures. Very unpleasant experience and because of that it doesn't give you the desire of doing business with this company game anymore. All they think about is making money. | |

| A complex but rich game! | |
| Dwellings of Eldervale is certainly more complex than your average board game, but worth the patience to learn. There are so many varying factors to each game, and you can familiarize yourself with some of the fundamental mechanics thanks to a 1 player mode that comes with the game where you face off against the Ghost of Eldervale. First time set up took awhile, but the game comes with lots of trays and organizational tools to make sure you can just pull it right out of the box and go for next time once you've done the initial set up, which is perfect. |

| This game is so well made. The way the board for each character work both as your tableau and your supply for your ressources is very nice. The game itself is a solide 11/10. It's one of the rare game where I wish it lasted longer. By the time the game end you just wish you have a couple more turn just to be able to do more on the board. I highly suggest this one! |

Je m’y attendais mais un peu déçu des 2 minis boites vides dans la grosse boite, qui gardent la place pour l’achat distinct des miniatures, qui ne sont pas trouvables nulle part en vente. Figurines peu utiles au jeu au final (standees font le travail) mais je verrais ce jeu dans un package plus petit (même les trays sont un peu ennuyants pour y piger les petits éléments). Sinon jeu avec stratégie et complexité moyenne. Variabilité des cartes compense pour la non variabilité des conditIons de victoire. | |

| Best part of this game is there's a reward for any action. - Lose a fight? Gain a sword - Put down a worker? Gain a token - Can't put down more workers? Gain tons of rewards Lastly the component quality is outstanding. For a huge box it's surprisingly quick to set up. -0.5 for packaging that includes empty boxes and slots to make you want to buy the 100$ expansions with 3D minitatures. This 2nd edition already comes with Frost Giant & Mother of Dragons, which already offer plenty of variety. |

| Quel jeu magnifique modulaire de placement d'ouvrier, lancement de dés et de "card management". Plusieurs factions de disponible qui rend chaque partie unique. les composantes sont juste malade, la possibilité de recruter les monstres pour les utiliser contre tes enemies est vraiment satisfaisante. Les habilitées des dragons, magicien et guerrier donnent à ce jeu toute la stratégie nécessaire poir une tonne de rejouabilité. | |

| Une grosse boîte pour une qualité au rendez-vous ! Les inserts sont de très bonne facture ainsi que tout le reste du matériel. Le jeu est simple mais pas simpliste.
