| Adds an excellent new mechanic | |
| In addition to the usual (more investigators, an ancient one, more assets, more encounters, more prelude cards, more monsters), this expansion add two new decks of cards. Disasters are devastating cards that leave cities in ruins and traumatize/harm any investigators who were in the vicinity. When a city is devastated regular encounters are unavailable, instead a new type of encounter becomes available. If all cities are devastated, investigators lose the game. Even if you're not playing with the new ancient one, the disaster cards can come up by ways of the prelude or the Mythos cards, which is very cool. | |

| This expansion add a new gameplay mechanic: some cities on the board can be destroyed by some big event picked randomly by a new card; then the destroyed cities ruins can be visited using new encounter cards. Of course some options are not available anymore and after the 9 main cities of the board are destroyed, the game is lost! So it definitely add a new optional experience to the game. | |

| Excellente addition pour tous les amateurs d'Eldritch Horror | |
| L'une des meilleurs extensions pour Eldritch Horror, avec l'un des méchanismes les plus mémorables et les plus bouleversants pouvant agrémenter vos parties : la dévastation. Sudden M'ell peut dévaster les différentes villes du plateau de jeu, jusqu'à causer la fin des temps, de manière beaucoup plus dramatique que les autres Grands Anciens, qui sont plus incidieux dans leurs tactiques. La dévastation des villes ajoute beaucoup d'urgence et de tension au partie, en plus de leur donner un air grandiose et cinématographique. Rien n'annonce mieux la fin du monde qu'une métropole qui disparaît littéralement de la carte. Cette extension apporte également son lot de nouveaux personnages, équipements, sortilèges et ennemis, pour ajouter un peu de diversité à vos parties, et ce même si vous décidez d'ignorer Shudden M'ell. Grandement recommandé. |

| This expansion adds some of the most interesting characters (one has a dog!). It also adds a new terrifying element that brings unpredictability: cities getting destroyed. | |

| Bon achat | |
| Parfait pour ajouter des cartes et donc de la variabilité. Le rapport cout et gain pour l’expérience de jeu est excellent, un must a mon avis. Elle apporte une nouvelle mécanique sans bouleverser le jeu. |
