In “Finca”, the players produce fruit that they will then sell to the different markets on the island. At each of their turns, they will have the choice between one of these two shares, produce or sell.

The production system is the heart of the game and is represented by a circular track whose each segment is a different fruit. Their disposition is random. On this track, the players' pieces will move by a number of squares depending on the number of pieces on the starting block and produce a number of fruits depending on the number of pieces on the finish block. If there are two pieces with the piece that a player wants to move, he will necessarily advance it by three segments. If there is already a pawn on the finish box, it will produce two fruits.

Regularly, at two places on the track, it is also possible to retrieve a cart, essential to transport its fruit. When the reserve of a fruit is empty and a player should get it, all players then give back all their stock of the commodity in question before the first can be used. same for the carts.

To sell, a player must first have a cart that allows him to carry up to six fruits. In each market, a tile indicates what is requested, usually a combination of different fruits that yields between 1 and 6 points and requires 1 to 6 fruits. If the player has the right combination of fruits, he takes the tile and returns the next. It is possible to sell in several markets during the same tour.

When a market is empty, a bonus tile is awarded. It rewards the one that has the largest number of a given fruit type.

Each player has four wild chips, each with a special feature that can be used once in the game. The first allows to go to the markets with 10 commodities instead of 6. With the second, it is possible to provide a market with a commodity less than necessary. The third allows to place anywhere a pawn during the production but without being able to recover a cart. The latter allows to play twice in a row during the production.

At the end of the game, players score an additional seven points if they have collected 1-6 tiles in the markets. Each unused wild card also pays 1 point. The player who has accumulated the most points wins the game.

There are other rule points like wild chips and bonuses in the markets that further enrich the game.
