Description
Becoming a king is hard, but being a king is even harder. You need warriors to protect your kingdom, merchants to keep your treasury liquid and heralds which proclaim your popularity across the kingdom. Luckily, your best mate has agreed to take over the hard graft so that you concentrate becoming a glory chieftain.
Isle of Skye: Journeyman, the first big expansion to Isle of Skye, contains new personal player boards indicating your progress in terms of strength, prosperity and popularity. As each progress step has requirements to be met, the personal player boards affect tile selling and placement. However, in order to claim the next level of development and gain potential rewards, it’s not sufficient to place the corresponding tiles only. A new pawn (the journeyman) needs to travel the kingdom and "activate" the tiles. In addition, four new scoring tiles are contained respecting the new challenges of Isle of Skye: Journeyman.

| Je le préfère a Carcassonne | |
| J'ai rien contre carcassonne, mais je trouve qu'il devient redondant vite. Je dois dire que même si la prémisse de ce jeu est plus que simple, son exécution elle ne l'est pas. On doit prévoir ses prochain coups, on doit penser à budgeter, penser que quand tu est premier, deuxième, troisième ou dernier joueur que c'est pas la même chose (et sa change chaque tour) et surtout il faut faire attention a ne pas se limiter dans la construction de son royaume. On commence par tirer 3 terrains, ensuite on en détruit 1 et on met un prix sur les 2 autres. On a ensuite le choix d'acheter 1 terrain a un joueur (devrait le faire tous les tours sinon on prend du retard) et ensuite avec les terrain qu'on a en main on bâtie son royaume de manière a tenter d'aller cherche le plus de points possible. Celui qui a le plus de points à la fin gagne. J'ai personnellement apprécié l'expérience et j'ai hâte d'y rejouer. Il y a tellement de chose a penser et en plus le systeme de point change toutes les games donc la re-jouabilité est incroyable. Un jeu pour tout le monde que l'on peu jouer même avec ses parents. |

| J'adore le jeu de base, mais l'expansion n'est pas un ajout si plaisant. Ça vaut la peine de s'informer sur les règles de l'expansion avant de l'acheter; je préfère jouer au jeu de base sans Journeyman. | |
