- Coins, with the exception of those emission price. Gold coins and bullion coins are not eligible.. Coin and paper money accessories are not eligible.

Merchants of the Dark Road is a highly thematic strategy game by rising-game designer Brian Suhre, brilliantly brought to life by acclaimed artist Andrew Bosley. Explore the city of Highreach where you will prepare your caravan with goods, contracts and heroes using a rondel style action system. When you're ready, head out beyond the safety of city walls alone or with other caravaneers to gain fame and fortune!

| Consistent with other Elf Creek Games (like Honey Buzz) Merchants of the Dark Road (base game without deluxe components) had an extremely high production value which I appreciate. Mechanism is pick up and deliver and also has a rondelle element making it a unique addition to my collection. Great game! | |

| J'ai longuement hésité à acheter "Merchants of the dark road" car plusieurs critiques étaient négatives au sujet de ce jeu. C'est dommage car après avoir essayé le mode solo, j'ai vraiment apprécié ce jeu. J'y rejoue souvent. J'ignore si la version multijoueurs est aussi bonne. Le matériel de ce jeu est de très bonne qualité ainsi que la direction artistique. | |

| Merchants of the Dark Road est pour moi une bonne découverte, le jeu est intéressant et vraiment beau. La qualité des pièces sont superbe. (Encore mieux si on achète les versions premium) Un jeu, par contre, qui est beaucoup plus du côté de la chance que la gestion. |

| Un bon choix, mais quelques erreurs | |
| Merchants of the dark road est un pick up and delivery qui se joue en 13 tours. Les illustrations sont superbes et les compasantes sont de bonne qualité. Les règles sont pour la plupart bien expliquées, mais contienne des erreurs ou ne sont pas clair. Certaines portions aurait pu être mise en gras pour dénonter des détails important. Il y a aussi un peu trop de "flavor text" à mon goût, l'espace aurait pu être utilisé pour mieux rédiger les règles. D'ailleurs, 2 nouvelles règles ont été confirmé par le designer du jeu, mais je ne sais pas si elles ont été intégrées dans les nouvelles copie du jeu. Il aurait aussi dû avoir une section pour les "Deeds" (exploits), ils portent à confusion et plusieurs questions on été posé à leur sujet sur le forum de BGG (Board game geek). J'ai aussi un commentaire général autant pour ce jeu, que pour tout les autres existant. Je sais que les éditeurs vendent des expensions et que ça fait parti du modèle d'affaire, mais s'ils mettaient tout le contenu prévu dans le jeux et leur plateau encastré (quand ils en ont pour le jeu, il y en a pour Merchants of the dark road), ce serait plus agréable pour les joueurs et ça aiderait pour nous intéressé pour leurs prochain projets. | |

| Le thème est très bon. Le plateau de jeu est sombre mais c'est dans le style du jeu. Il y a plusieurs aspect au jeu et j'ai particulièrement aimé la façon dont un dés pousse un autre pour obtenir son résultat mais aussi une action spécifique. Il y a quelques partie du livre de règles qui nécessite une section FAQ mais sinon un bon jeu. | |
