Description
The Dawn of Humanity. Experience 30,000 years of civilisation in 45 minutes! Players must lead their tribes in short, fast turns through the early history of humanity, discovering agriculture and taking their tribe through to the Bronze Age. The tribes must settle unknown lands and use their valuable resources in order to discover the new inventions and tools they will need to progress.
Each turn, players will select an action from the shifting action display: moving, exploring or growing as needed. Players will start with a small tribe at first, but through these actions will grow and become more powerful as they set out to discover new lands and the valuable resources they provide.
Who will best prepare their tribe against the events such as natural disasters, predators and more? Who will forge a path forward and lead their tribe to victory?

| Un bon jeu intéressant de civilisation préhistorique. Le matériel est de très bonne qualité. Les règles sont assez simples pour permettre à un grand nombre de joueurs de participer. J'aurais par contre aimé un peu plus de viande autour de l'os. | |

| Nous étions emballés à la perspective de jouer ce jeu. Le matériel est beau et bien fait, la thématique est intrigante. Peut-être a-t-il une clientèle qui l'aime beaucoup? Au bout du compte, nous avons trouvé que ce jeu est essentiellement une course vers le fil d'arrivée. Le meneur en début de partie est très difficilement rattrapable. J'aurais peut-être intérêt à lui donner une autre chance? Mais bon... | |

| Pour moi, ce jeu fut ma découverte de l'année. Du même designer que le jeu Nations, qui est long, complexe, très stratégique et, on va ce le dire, pas très jolie, dans Tribes nous avez un jeu simple à apprendre, rapide et très beau et coloré. Un jeu familiale "plus" qui offre des choix intéressant mais qui ne ne seront pas mélangeant ni complexe. Je le recommande fortement. | |
