Description
In the card game Doomseeker, players take on the role of a mighty dwarf slayer. Each player's character is sworn by the slayer's oath to seek a glorious death in battle for a crime committed or stain on that dwarf's honor. The slayers eschew worldly pursuits, dye their beards and hair in fierce and fiery reds and oranges, tattoo their ruddy flesh, take up their weapons, and wander the old world seeking their doom battling monsters and enemies of their race.
The Doomseeker card game pits players against one another to see who can die the most glorious death! Press your luck and challenge the denizens and monsters of the Old World, with each victory bringing you more glory, and ultimately your death can be met at the hands of a truly worthy foe!

| Tout simplement Wow. Un bijou de jeu à découvrir. | |
| Je suis un très grand fan de l'univers "Old World" de Warhammer. Pour ceux qui connaissent déjà cet univers de miniatures et de jeux de société de Games Workshop, vous savez déjà qu'ils ont décidé d'arrêter la publication des jeux dans cet univers pour se concentrer sur d'autres mondes. C'est une erreur selon moi mais hélas! Je ne suis pas au cadre dans leur compagnie. Ce jeu représente donc l'un des derniers jeu de table disponible dans cet univers. Mais cela n'est pas son seul atout. Il s'agit d'un incroyablement bon jeu avec une complexité surprenante, tout en étant facile à apprendre. Le plus grand compliment que je peux payer à ce jeu est qu'il m'a fait beaucoup penser au jeu de cartes Munchkin (si vous ne connaissez pas, à découvrir aussi!) avec son mélange d'intrigue, de coup bas et même un petit aspect politique de négociation lorsque l'on joue à plus de deux joueurs. Rajoutez à cela un "magasin" pour magasiner avec son argent, et la possibilité pour les joueurs dont le personnage est décédé de continuer à influencer le jeu, et nous sommes donc en présence d'un véritable chef-d’œuvre. Fortement recommandé, je pense même en acheter un 2e exemplaire pour m'assurer de toujours avoir une copie du jeu en bonne condition. | |
