KULT: Divinity Lost is a reboot of the highly acclaimed and infamous contemporary horror role-playing game “Kult”, originally released in 1991. This, the 4th edition of Kult, features a completely new rule-set based on the Apocalypse World engine, and the setting is updated to present day. Escape your nightmares, strike bargains with demons, and try to stay alive in a world full of pain, torture, and death. In KULT: Divinity Lost, the world around us is a lie. Mankind is trapped in an Illusion. We do not see the great citadels of Metropolis towering over our highest skyscrapers. We do not hear the screams from the forgotten cellar where hidden stairs take us to Inferno. We do not smell the blood and burnt flesh from those sacrificed to long forgotten Gods. | Une magnifique réédition, tant au niveau visuel (le livre est une splendeur) qu'au niveau de son adaptation 'propulsée par l'apocalypse' qui donne tout son sens au jeu et aux dynamiques de personnages. Chaudement recommandé, mais attention aux âmes sensibles, l'univers est sombre, très sombre. | |

| Dark Adult Gritty Horror...did I mention *Adult*? | |
| Please Note: This is a drastically dark RPG and is *definitely* not for everyone! Like, Kult is the only RPG I recall that discusses safe words and hand gestures that can be used by an uncomfortable player or GM to stop a scene. The scenes, images and ideas in this book are out there...like, way out there! To call it 'Not Safe For Work' would be Understatement of the Year. This RPG will have the characters delving into the deep darkness of humanity...think World of Darkness meets Constantine meets horror movies, like hard 'R' horror movies. *Most of humanity is blissfully unaware, even if we feel the sense of loss or that something isn’t quite right, and the game focuses on the PCs who – unfortunately for them – have slightly more knowledge. The PCs are people who might notice that the chief of police always smells of blood or that the shadows around the crime scene are unusually dark. Escape your nightmares, strike bargains with demons, and try to stay alive in a world full of pain, torture, and death.* |

| Et système très simple dans le style "fail forward". 2d10+attribut, sur 15 et plus c'est réussi, sur 10 à 14 ce l'est un peu moins et sur 9 ou moins, il y a des conséquences; le jeu semble ne pas aimer un résultat "il ne se passe rien". Ça demande de l'improvisation et une bonne connaissance des règles de la part du maître de jeu, mais du point de vue du joueur, c'est extrêmement simple. | |

| Jeu de role qui m'a toujours intrigué, c'est un des meilleurs achats que j'ai fait dans les dernieres années. Il est a la hauteur de sa réputation quant a la thématique d'horreur, a mon avis ca dépasse largement Call of Cthulhu et world of darkness. Le jeu réussi tellement bien que ca peut aussi bloquer certaines personnes qui ne voudrons pas embarquer dans une ambiance aussi dark. | |

| Jeu de rôle d’horreur par excellence | |
| Pour les fans de jdr matures et avide de sueur froide. Les illustrations sont superbes mais très sombres. Le système de jeu est très fluide et simple. La force de ce jeu est son setting, l’ambiance qu’il y règne. On y encourage aussi les joueurs à développer en profondeur leurs personnages avec un historique, des avantages et des désavantages. | |
