Veritas is a clever and unique strategy game from game designers James Ernest and Mike Selinker. It's a simple territory-control game about keeping the truth alive.
Each player is a different version of truth, trying tosurvive the Dark Ages by being copied in books.
The board is a map of France, showing roads, monasteries and cities. Your tokens reprensent books, which contains your truth. You'll spend the game copying and moving your books, and trying to take over France.
Between turns, a monastery almost always burns down. This can cause books to scatter... not always in the way their owners might want. Survive the chaos and outwit the other players to become the most powerful truth !
You need : About 40 small tokens for every player.You must be able the stack them at least ten high.
Age : 12 +
3-6 players
