Vermissian Black Ops takes the doomed body-horror protagonists of Heart and puts them to work for the Ministry – a shadowy paramilitary church that looks to unseat the high elves – as high-stakes wetwork specialists, carrying out dangerous strike missions in Spire via the twisting passages of the Vermissian network. Rules for spec-ops equipment, combat-related fallout and mission building advice round out this gung-ho supplement. This sourcebook allow players and gamesmasters to blend together campaigns and one-off sessions of Heart and Spire without compromising either game’s rules or theme. This new 2024 printing has been updated with errata, layout upgrades, and a spine to ease shelving and collecting.
