| Great game for the fans of both ttrpgs and Warhammer. My only major complaint with the game so far is how little actual lore there is. Obviously Warhammer has a very extensive world to explore but the book doesn't really help newcomers to the franchise | |

| Le livre est d'une très bonne qualité et les images sont superbes. Il y a beaucoup d'information sur l'univers de 40k, bien que quelques recherches ailleurs sont naissaissaire pour compléter quelques élément. Pour les règles, c'est bien détaillé, mais j'ai du lire et relire la création de personnage pour bien comprendre où commencer. En somme, un très bon livre! | |

| Wrath & Glory est un jeu de rôle vous propulsant dans de fantastiques aventures dans l'univers de Warhammer 40,000. Du simple guardman au puissant Primaris Space Marine, en passant par rogue trader ou Aeldar, une impressionnante variété d'options et de choix s'offrent à vous. Les règles sont simples et évocatrices, suffisamment robustes pour couvrir une variété d'options, de situations et scénarios. Elle ne sont toutefois pas rigoureusement balancées, mais vous permettront des actes épiques dignes des meilleures récits de l'univers 40k. |

| This 384-page full-colour hardback Rulebook, published by Cubical 7, marked the relaunch of the Wrath & Glory Roleplaying game, originally published by Ulisses Spiel in 2018, cleaning up and clarifying the rules and elaborating upon them. While Wrath & Glory games can take place anywhere in the Imperium, Cubicle 7 wisely chose to include a setting that concentrates on a single solar system of eight planets which has been violently cut off from the rest of the Imperium due to an event known as the Great Rift. This allows newcomers to the 40K Universe to immerse themselves in this vast setting without feeling too overwhelmed by the immensity of its lore. Wrath & Glory is a d6 dice-pool system that uses point-buy to build characters. The game is divided into Tiers of play (1 through 4), allowing you to create a variety of campaigns at varying power-levels, from the lowly Imperial Guardsmen to the powerful Space Marines and anything in between, by providing a framework called… well, Framework. W&G also provides Archetypes, premade packages of abilities, skills and talents designed to facilitate and speed up character creation. However, players can opt to use the advanced character creation mode if they feel constrained by these Archetypes. The rules are clear and concise, making it easy to learn, but they provide just enough “crunch” to customize characters in meaningful ways and the Combat Rules provide enough options for satisfying tactical battles. Players and GMs alike also have access to meta currencies which allow them to influence the outcome of events and rolls. All in all, it’s a pretty good game system that facilitates action-packed cinematic scenes and play in the 41st millennium, and is flexible enough to allow taking on the various roles that exist in 40K fiction without requiring multiple different game systems for each playstyle, like past games set in the universe. If you want to dip your toes into the Warhammer 40K universe without having to buy multitudinous rules tomes, this is the game for you! |
