Our Threads is a unique question and answer game created by refugee youth in the United States that invites friends, family, classmates, and coworkers to connect through thought-provoking prompts that inspire deep conversations, storytelling, and genuine moments. Card backs are lovingly illustrated with patterns inspired by traditional clothes worn by the refugee childrens’s families.

Children participating in the game design process came from countries including Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burundi, Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Iraq, Karen, Kenya, Kurdistan, Libya, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Togo, Uganda, Yemen, and Zambia.
