| I recently built the Gundam Hakuryu Taitei (BB Senshi BB115), and it was a fun, nostalgic experience. As an SD kit from the early '90s, it's simple compared to modern Gunpla, but it has a lot of charm. The design stands out with its regal, dragon-themed armor and gold accents — it really captures that emperor vibe. The build was quick and easy, taking under an hour. No glue or paint is required, which is great for beginners or anyone looking for a relaxing project. However, the kit relies heavily on stickers for detailing, and some of them were tricky to apply cleanly. In terms of articulation, it’s pretty limited, and a few parts felt a bit loose. Still, it looks great on display and brings back memories of older BB Senshi kits. It's not a high-performance model, but for collectors or fans of SD Gundam, it’s a satisfying addition. Overall, Hakuryu Taitei is a solid, budget-friendly kit with a unique aesthetic. I wouldn’t recommend it for dynamic posing, but it definitely shines as a display piece. |
